Deerfield Elementary Afterschool Program

Shehnaaz Dance Academy (SDA) brings the joy of Indian dance to Deerfield Elementary through engaging, high-quality classes in classical, Bollywood, folk, and fusion styles. Our programs blend cultural education with skill-building, creativity, and performance opportunities. We inspire confidence, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the arts in every student we teach. Our semester culminates in our themed and costumed Winter Showcase 2026 which affords students an opportunity to showcase their hard work and progress over the semester.

Please Note-

  • Biweekly Practice Videos will be provided for at home practice.

  • Semester Fees includes cost of one costume but does not include ticketing fees for events.

Grades: K-2
Day: Thursdays 3:15-4:15pm
Cost: $160/child for 8 weeks (Does not include costume or SDA Spring Showcase participation)

SDA Afterschool Dance Program – Bollywood & K-Pop Fusion

This after school dance program introduces students to a fun and energetic fusion of Bollywood and K-Pop dance styles. Through age-appropriate choreography, students explore rhythm, musicality, coordination, and expressive movement while dancing to upbeat, popular music from both styles.

Classes focus on building confidence, teamwork, and creativity in a supportive and engaging environment. Students learn short combinations, improve body awareness, and develop performance skills—all while having fun and staying active after school.
