Shehnaaz Dance Academy is excited to bring Bollywood Dance classes to Waldo School this Fall 2024 Semester with an additional batch for Waldo’s Kindergarten - 2nd graders. Our students will learn age appropriate choreography and have the opportunity to perform at our costumed and themed Winter Showcase 2025. Costume and participation fees for students is included in the registration fees for the semester. Please find class details below-

Waldo Bollywood I

Dates- September 18th- December 18th (No Class 11/27)
Time- 3:30pm - 4:15pm
Ages- Pre K - 1st Grade

Our Waldo Bollywood I class will focus on

  • learning basic stance, postures and spatial positioning

  • concentration and working as part of a team

  • musical cues/beats and timing their moves with respect to the beat

  • developing hand - leg coordination and awareness of their movements and transitions between moves. 

  • learning one 2- 2.5 minute choreography

  • being confident and expressing themselves on stage thorugh music and dance

  • Biweekly Practice Videos will be provided for at home practice.

  • Semester Fees does not include cost of costume and ticketing fees for events.
