At Shehnaaz Dance Academy (SDA), we offer a dynamic range of classes designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and cultural connection in students of all ages and experience levels. From foundational training to advanced performance work, our programs balance technical skill-building with joyful artistic expression.

SDA’s offerings include dance styles such as Bollywood, Hip Hop, BollyJazz, Kathak, and Bharatanatyam, along with cultural immersion classes and Rangmanch Indian theater programs at our various studio locations.

Our sessions typically culminate in a polished, costumed choreography performed on stage at the SDA Showcase, giving students the opportunity to celebrate their progress and share their learning through a live performance experience. Performers also participate in a dedicated dress rehearsal to prepare for the stage. Students must show up to class in SDA T-shirt and black leggings or athletic pants.

Tentative Showcase Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026 (Dress rehearsal on June 5th and June 6th)

How to Register for Classes

• Please make sure you add/update your child’s costume size by clicking on Students on the left side menu bar and entering the sizing for your child in the Standard Costume Size for SDA Showcase field to ensure we order the correct size costume for recitals.

• We have also added a new option to allow parents to grant Self Dismissal Permission in the portal.

• We recommend students do 3-4 semesters of each level to get proficient in the foundations before advancing to the next level.
