Shehnaaz Dance Academy is excited to bring its classes to Frank R Conwell - PS3 school this Spring 2025. Our semi-annual Recitals give our students an opportunity to showcase their hard work and talent as well as giving them the confidence and exposure to hold their own in front of huge audiences. We look forward to a wonderful semester ahead.
SDA SPRING RECITAL 2019
Bollywood II
Day: Tuesdays 3:15pm - 4:00pm
Dates: January 13th- March 17th
Age: Grades K - 2nd
Geared towards teaching students more bollywood steps, this class introduces our students to Indian classical dance styles. We also expose our students to jazz and salsa styles of dances set to the Bollywood Beats. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, coordination, and active learning. Students are taught to work on facial expressions and spatial positioning. This class helps the students get a taste of stage shows and build their confidence. Our semester fees includes 10 sessions, a costume and a dress rehearsal. Enrolled students will be performing in our end of the semester recital.
