Shehnaaz Dance Academy (SDA) brings the joy of Indian dance to Cornelia Bradford Elementary through engaging, high-quality classes in classical, Bollywood, folk, and fusion styles. Our programs blend cultural education with skill-building, creativity, and performance opportunities. We inspire confidence, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the arts in every student we teach. Our semester culminates in our themed and costumed Winter Showcase 2026 which affords students an opportunity to showcase their hard work and progress over the semester.

PS16 Bollywood II Class

PS16 Bollywood II Class
Ages: Grade 2 - Grade 3
Cost: $120 

Our PS16 Bollywood II class is designed to create a fun and engaging learning experience, where students can enjoy mastering semi-complex choreography while building confidence and teamwork skills. The focus is on strengthening coordination and refining dance stance through enjoyable exercises and routines. Students will have a blast learning legwork, spatial movement, and transitions all while expressing the emotion of the music and exploring the basics of facial expressions. This semester our intention is to include a dance skit with focus on acting cues and dialogue delivery to our program.

The class encourages both independent learning and group collaboration, helping students feel confident. To keep the experience enjoyable at home too, biweekly practice videos will be provided for fun practice sessions.

PS16 Bollywood III Class

PS16 Bollywood III Class
Ages: Grade 4 - Grade 5
Cost: $120 

Our PS16 Bollywood III class is designed to create a fun and engaging learning experience, where students can enjoy mastering complex choreography and floorwork while building confidence and teamwork skills. The focus is on strengthening coordination and refining dance stance through enjoyable dance drills. Students will learn complex legwork, spatial movement, and formations all while expressing the emotion of the music and exploring the basics of facial expressions. This semester our intention is to include a dance skit with focus on acting cues and dialogue delivery to our program.
