Shehnaaz Dance Academy is excited to bring its classes to Hamilton Park Montessori school this Spring 2025. Our semi-annual showcases give our students an opportunity to showcase their hard work and talent as well as giving them the confidence and exposure to hold their own in front of huge audiences. We look forward to a wonderful semester ahead. 

Our Spring 2025 showcase is tentatively scheduled for May 17th, 2025.

HPMS Lower School Indian Dance Class

Dates- Tuesdays February 4th- May 20th
Time- 3:15pm - 4:15pm

Our SDA Bollywood class will focus on

  • learning basic stance, postures and spatial positioning

  • concentration and working as part of a team

  • musical cues/beats and timing their moves with respect to the beat

  • developing hand - leg coordination and awareness of their movements and transitions between moves. 

  • learning one 2- 2.5 minute choreography

  • being confident and expressing themselves on stage thorugh music and dance
