Shehnaaz Dance Academy is excited to bring its classes to Hoboken Charter School this Spring 2025. Our semi-annual showcases give our students an opportunity to showcase their hard work and talent as well as giving them the confidence and exposure to hold their own in front of huge audiences. We look forward to a wonderful semester ahead.

HCS After-School Program: Street Style Drama & Dance
Dates- March 28th- June 13th
Time- 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Ages- Kindergarten+
Join us for an exciting after-school program where storytelling, dance, and creativity come together! This unique program brings to life a vibrant street-style drama presentation of a Northern Indian folktale, blending acting, folk dance, and modern movement.
• Acting & Props: Buzy Bugs will guide kids in creating props and exploring theatrical expressions to bring the story to life.
• BollyHop Fusion: A major highlight of the program is the transition from folk dance to modern Hip Hop, with a Bollywood twist. Our BollyHop routine will showcase the evolution of dance styles over time.
This immersive experience will encourage creativity, confidence, and cultural appreciation, culminating in a lively final performance for families to enjoy! The semester will culminate in a skit & dance performance at SDA's Spring Showcase scheduled for May 17, 2025.

Biweekly Practice Videos will be provided for at home practice.
All supplies will be provided for the BuzyBugs Cultural Exploration Class.
