SDA Company Kids

Our SDA Minors and Juniors program is for intermediate level dancers who will represent SDA at competitions, cultural events and community events across the Tristate area. This program is specifically meant for students who are regular, diligent, strive to improve and are committed to the art and performance. Our SDA Minors and Juniors program is designed for dancers who can adapt to a routine and choreography with ease. Our students will be trained to be well-rounded performers.

At SDA we expect our students to be performers with the highest commitment and dedication to their art form and prepare them to be not just good dancers but kind-hearted, empathetic, confident and promising individuals.

Our SDA Company Kids program will focus on:
-strength and flexibility exercises
-techniques, musicality and emoting
-synchronization and teamwork
-confidence to compete
-expression, emoting and musicality

 

Performance + Competition Team

Pre requisites:

  • By invitation only

  • Must have been a past company dancer at SDA

  • Must be available to participate in at least 3 community events with SDA

  • Must be committed to competing with SDA at the FIA Dance Pe Chance competition on Feb 1st, 2025

Cost:

Schedule: Performance + Competition Team Calendar up to January 31st, 2025

  • Fridays starting Sept 20th 6:00pm - 7:00pm

  • Saturdays in January 2025 1:00pm- 4:00pm

  • Sundays in January 2025 1:00pm- 4:00pm

 

Competition Team
(Full Term)

Pre requisites:

  • By invitation only

  • Must be available to participate in at least 3 community events with SDA

  • Must commit to all attend all classes from November 2024- February 2025

  • Must be committed to competing with SDA at the FIA Dance Pe Chance competition on Feb 1st, 2025

Cost:

Schedule: Competition Team Calendar up to January 31st, 2025

  • Fridays starting November 15th 6:00pm - 7:00pm

  • Saturdays in January 2025 1:00pm- 4:00pm

  • Sundays in January 2025 1:00pm- 4:00pm

 

Competition Intensive
(4 Weeks)

Pre requisites:

  • By invitation only

  • Must have been a past company dancer at SDA

  • Must commit to all attend all Company classes in January 2025

  • Must be committed to competing with SDA at the FIA Dance Pe Chance competition on Feb 1st, 2025

  • Cost includes All classes conducted with SDA + Standard Size Costume + Competition registration fees
