Periodic videos to allow students to practice and perfect their skills
Showcase skills at one of the local Indian Independence Day Events

Bollywood Beginners/I

Bollywood II

Ages: 3-4.5 years old
Time: 4:00-4:45pm

Our Bollywood Beginners/ Bollywood I class is designed to familiarize students with Bollywood dance. Our first time students are taught to start recognizing the beat using various means to identify the 8 count. Students will be taught to focus on learning basic technique and memorizing choreography using simple word cues. Students will be taught one 1- 2 minute choreography and be provided a performance opportunity and/ a chance to record an outdoor professional video of the choreography they have covered over the semester. Our semester will be centered around the Indian Independence Day.

Biweekly videos will be provided for at home practice.

Ages: 5-6.5 years old
Time: 5:00-5:45pm

Our Bollywood II class is designed to work on basic form, technique, and spatial positioning. Special attention is given to hand- leg coordination and recognition of the 8 count beat. Our students focus on learning to work together as a team while memorizing choreography using simple cues. Students are given the tools to be confident and be able to perform in front of a crowd. Students will be taught one 1- 2 minute choreography and be provided a performance opportunity and/ a chance to record an outdoor professional video of the choreography they have covered over the semester. Our semester will be centered around the Indian Independence Day.

Biweekly videos will be provided for at home practice.



Hip Hop Intensive

Kathak Fusion Intensive

Ages: 7+ years old
Time: 4:00-4:45pm

Our Bollywood III class focuses on semi complex choreography and dance stance. Students are expected to concentrate for the entire length of the class and work independently. Teachers will focus on legwork, proper technique, spatial movement and turns. Emphasis will be given to learning the emotion of the track and basics of expression. Students will learn the importance of teamwork and will be given the tools to perform without cues from their teacher. Students will be taught one 1- 2 minute choreography and be provided a performance opportunity and/ a chance to record an outdoor professional video of the choreography they have covered over the semester. Our semester will be centered around the Indian Independence Day.

Biweekly videos are provided for at home practice.

Ages: 8+ years old
Time: 5:00- 5:45pm

Our HipHop Intensive will be taught by Mr. Ravi. The class will focus on teaching students Hip Hop footwork and technique. Students will learn the musicality and texture of the Hip Hop. Mr. Ravi will focus on improvising the student’s technique to move fast and easily as a primary goal in this intensive. Emphasis will be given on mastering footwork and stylized moves. Students will learn various Hip Hop styles such as locking, house and will even learn how to shuffle. Students will be encouraged to memorize their choreography and perform it without the teacher’s cues. Students will be taught one complex 1- 2 minute choreography and be provided a performance opportunity and/ a chance to record an outdoor professional video of the choreography they have covered over the semester. Our semester will be centered around the Indian Independence Day.

Adults Dance Class with Mr. Ravi

Ages: 18+ years old
Time: 7:00- 8:00pm

Our Bollywood class for adults will be taught by Mr. Ravi. The class will focus on teaching students Bollywood moves as well as basic Hip Hop footwork and technique. Students will learn the musicality and texture of new emerging dance styles in Bollywood movies. Mr. Ravi will focus on improvising the student’s technique and grace while keeping stage performances as a primary focus. Emphasis will be given on mastering footwork and stylized moves. Students will be encouraged to memorize their choreography, get comfortable with recording reels and performing as a team. Students will be taught one complex 1- 2 minute choreography and be provided a performance opportunity and/ a chance to record an outdoor professional video of the choreography they have covered over the semester.

Biweekly videos will be provided for at home practice.
