SDA is beyond excited to be partnering with LCCS and JCAST to bring to you diverse performances by our talented students and team. SDA has always been a supporter of art and artists from all around the globe. Our mission is to instill a love of dance, inspire self-confidence, discipline, harmony and respect for the arts and all culture. We create a nurturing and accepting environment to allow students to blossom and discover their passion for the arts. We are thankful to the JCAST and LCCS school for their continual support and encouragement in bringing diverse dance, music and art to the forefront and celebrating the co-existence of so many diverse communities in harmony in Jersey City.

Line Up -

Our SurTaal singers are all geared up to bring you a soothing medley of Hindustani (Indian) vocals. This will be followed by a Garba Performance by Team SDA. Garba is a Gujarati folk dance celebrated during Navratri, an Indian cultural festival that spans nine nights and ten days , and is celebrated every year in the Fall. Post our performance, we would like to request all attendees to join us in creating a Garba Dance Flashmob. We are honored to be creating the first ever Garba Flashmob at an event in Jersey City.
