Shehnaaz Dance Academy (SDA) brings the joy of Indian dance to Mt. Pleasant Elementary School through engaging, high-quality classes in classical, Bollywood, folk, and fusion styles. Our programs blend cultural education with skill-building, creativity, and performance opportunities. We inspire confidence, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the arts in every student we teach. Our semester culminates in our themed and costumed Winter Showcase 2026 which affords students an opportunity to showcase their hard work and progress over the semester.

Ages- Grade K - 2
Our SDA Bollywood II class will focus on
learning semi complex postures and techniques
concentration and working as part of a team
musical cues/beats and timing their moves with respect to the beat
developing hand - leg coordination and awareness of their movements and transitions between moves.
learning one 2- 2.5 minute choreography
being confident and expressing themselves on stage through music and dance
