SDA COMPANY
The SDA Company Program is an invite-only training and performance opportunity for dedicated dancers who are ready to challenge themselves, elevate their skills, and take their passion for dance to the next level. Company dancers receive focused training while representing SDA at premier competitions and performance opportunities across the Tri-State area.
What Dancers Can Expect:
Focused Competition Training: Strengthen technique, precision, musicality, stamina, and performance quality through dedicated rehearsals and advanced choreography.
Confidence on Stage: Develop the skills to command the stage, connect with an audience, and perform with confidence, energy, and individuality.
Creative, Theme-Based Choreography: Experience dynamic routines that blend movement, music, storytelling, formations, and innovative concepts to create memorable performances.
Expression & Performance Coaching: Go beyond learning steps by developing facial expressions, character work, emotional connection, and the performance quality needed to bring choreography to life.
Teamwork & Discipline: Train alongside equally motivated dancers while developing commitment, accountability, resilience, teamwork, and lasting friendships.
Growth Through Competition: Experience the excitement and challenge of competing while learning how to receive feedback, push personal boundaries, and continuously grow as a dancer and performer.
Performance Opportunities: Represent SDA at select competitions, showcases, community events, and special performance opportunities throughout the season.

At SDA, competition is about much more than trophies. It's about challenging yourself, stepping outside your comfort zone, supporting your teammates, and discovering what you're capable of.
Our goal is to develop confident, expressive, disciplined, and well-rounded performers who carry the skills they learn through dance far beyond the stage.
SDA Company - Minors & Juniors
To better support our dancers and families, we are offering two location-based Company classes in 2026 — one in Livingston and one in Jersey City. This will make it easier for students to attend rehearsals and balance their schedules. While practices will happen separately in 2025, both groups will come together in 2026 to form one unified SDA Company.
