Ekdum Jhakaas - SDA Winter Showcase 2026

If you’ve attended a Shehnaaz Dance Academy showcase before, you already know—when the show is called Jhakaas, it truly lives up to the name. For those unfamiliar with the term, Jhakaas is a colloquial Marathi word, proudly adopted into Hindi, meaning awesome, amazing, fabulous—everything wonderful, with a touch of street swag.

Every aspect of our showcase- the theme, decor, song selection, props and finale dance is carefully created keeping our passion for dance and intention to entertain our audience as well as to ensure each and every student at SDA is highlighted for their hardwork and efforts. This photo blog captures the spirit of the showcase—from check-in and tech rehearsals to ticketing, backstage moments, and electrifying performances on stage.

This spectacular event would not have been possible without the incredible support of sponsors and local businesses.
